Charles “Mac” McGaughey founded MCL in 1950 and to this day is owned and operated by The McGaughey Family, which has now been in the restaurant business for three generations. MCL is a true family business.
Scratch Kitchen
Our food is prepared in our scratch kitchens using family recipes born on the farms of Sheridan, IN, and served in a cafeteria style. Our kitchens get busy with bakers at 5 am each morning and throughout the day our skilled cooks produce each layer of our recipes from raw ingredients.
